Riel North-West Rebellion Stamp Essay. The famous and rare "Republique Canadienne-Canadian Republic" provisional government stamp essay in red (also known in green and black). This woodcut print on thin crisp paper represents a key moment in Canadian history and is in archivally fresh, sound and superb condition. Occasionally offered in auction but rarely this nice. This particular stamp hasn't seen the light of day for many decades.
