There are only 7 Large Queens from the 12-1/2c and 15c values, but there are many Small Queens of all denominations, printings with some identified perforation and shade variants (with potential for more discovery) and 20 copies of the Widow Weeds. There are many nice cancels (including a couple of "crown" cancels and a few Western cancels), and there are "jumbo" copies scattered throughout. Seven boxes, each holding a couple hundred #8 sized envelopes, with each envelope holding a few to a few hundred stamps, with a description of the stamp inside (and there can be several envelopes for each stamp). Tens of thousands of stamps here, with potential for cancels and varieties. Bermuda #1/197. A used collection of Bermuda 1865-1965, neatly arranged in a lightly used 16-page Lighthouse stockbook. A strong collection, starting with #1 and well-represented in both the Victorian era and later reigns. The owner has helpfully identified all stamps. Some Gibbons colour varieties not noted by Scott are included and the odd mint can be found here or there (very few). Most stamps are clean and generally fine-plus copies, though some small faults in the earlier can be expected. The owner has not reviewed the high denomination key-plates against colour or plate varieties so there may be more to discover, and those with fiscal cancels have been counted at 10% of catalogue. Bermuda - Collection Part A. Lovely collection of mint Bermuda, 1865-1995, containing many hundreds of stamps on over 100 well described pages, housed in 3 binders. This well organized collection ranges from Scott #5/684, including a few souvenir sheets, sheetlets, Omnibus sets, booklet panes, sideways watermarks, and some used stamps scattered within. We note some singles and several sets cataloguing $10 to $30 each, including Scott #s 105-114 ($79 total), 143-162 ($110 total). A spot check indicated lightly hinged stamps up to the mid 1970's, with never hinged material thereafter. A wonderful clean collection for collectors and dealers looking for stock. *On our great bidboard page you will notice that we have included a declining clock that displays the time remaining in the sale, subject to the addition of overtime. There is an automatic 3 minute bidding extension if a bid is submitted on any lot within the last 3 minutes on the bidding clock. These time extensions will continue to occur until there is a 3 minute period during which no bidding takes place. We expect overtime with this type of bidding will last two to three hours in extra bidding time. This extra time will allow you to make sure you get the lots you really want to get right away.
