Brazil - Lovely collection of mint and used Brazil, 1844-1975, containing roughly 1,500 stamps neatly organized in mostly hingeless mount on Minkus album pages. The collection generally ranges from Scott #7/2072 containing singles, sets, along with selections of airmails, semi-postals, and other back of the book issues. The collection contains a number of stamps or sets cataloguing $10 and up including #s 53-60 (used, $66.90 total), 62 (mh, $85), 66 (ng, $100), 97-98 (used, $220 total), 198 (mh, $100), 364-374 (mh, $103.95 total), just to name a few. Scott 2026 catalogue value for the collection up to 1950 only totals $2,239, leaving additional finds and catalogue value for the dedicated collector. A nice collection that should be continued until completion, a few faults with a few early issues, overall fine to very fine. Online photos show a sampling. 2026 Scott US$2,238.00 =

*On our great bidboard page you will notice that we have included a declining clock that displays the time remaining in the sale, subject to the addition of overtime. There is an automatic 3 minute bidding extension if a bid is submitted on any lot within the last 3 minutes on the bidding clock. These time extensions will continue to occur until there is a 3 minute period during which no bidding takes place. We expect overtime with this type of bidding will last two to three hours in extra bidding time. This extra time will allow you to make sure you get the lots you really want to get right away.
