The first set of 16 is complete (overprint is bilingual) and eight examples from the overprinted second set (post office name and the denomination). While these stamps look to be in excellent condition and legitimate, the gum leads us to believe that they may not all be the real deal, so we are selling them as-is. Complete mint WWII (and immediate post-war) era regular issues of Great Britain King George VI stamps overprinted "EAF" and "Tripolitania", including most of the postage dues. The EAF overprints are complete. The Tripolitania is missing only #J8 and #J10. The lot generally ranges from Scott #51/3157, containing a wide range of material including singles, sets, souvenir sheets, booklets and panes, coils, die cuts, back of the book material, and more. The collection contains a few pre-1930 issues, but the strength of the collection ranges from the late 1970s onwards (mostly sporadically filled on album pages), with stamps generally held in place by photo corners. There is an automatic 3 minute bidding extension if a bid is submitted on any lot within the last 3 minutes on the bidding clock.
