British Commonwealth -
An interesting collector’s holding of British Commonwealh. Starting with a blue springback album with British Central and Southern Africa, mint and used with about 550 different (1012 stamps in total) with strength in Rhodesias, South Africa, but also notable Basutoland, Bechuanaland, Malawi, Nigeria, Nyasaland, SW Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Zululand, plus a half-sheet of Northern Rhodesia 1948 1 ½ d Silver Jubilee, Gambia "cars" in strips. This album in nicely complemented by three packages "British Commonwealth and Empire, smaller countries" of "A to Z" mint and used, with over 2100 stamps, and consignor noting there are 1329 different stamps within these packages.
