Collection mint Canada containing a few hundred stamps in two Minkus albums, 1897-1971. The collection ranges from Scott #50/553, along with small selections of back of the book issues, and some Newfoundland stamps. The collection begins with a few Jubilees (1/2c, 8c, 10c, 15c, all with gum disturbance), and continues with scattered mint in hingeless mounts up to the 1950's, and fills out up to 1971. We note a few stamps cataloguing $10.00 and up including Maps #85-86 (mh, $85.00 total), a few low denomination Quebecs, Admiral coils, $1.00 Cavell (gum disturbance), among a few others. The collection also includes a handful of generally post 1920 Newfoundland issues. A nicely organized starter mint collection, with pages for issues ranging from 1851 to 1989 (includes spots for souvenir sheets and booklets), and should be filled out by Canada collectors.
