Fine collection of used Canada, 1859-1989, containing many hundreds of stamps in a Darnell album. This neatly organized collection generally ranges from Scott #14/1263 (includes a faulty #4 imperforate beaver), including selections of back of the book issues. A check of early issues includes #s 14-15, 17-19, Large Queens #s 21, 24, 25, 27-29 (most with small faults), 17 Small Queens (including 10c, 20c, 50c), small selection of Jubilees (noting 50c), part sets of Leafs and Numerals, Quebecs, Scrolls (includes 50c Bluenose and $1 Parliament), and complete sets of Admirals, Pictorial issues, War and Peace issues. A spot check indicated singles, sets, and partial sets cataloguing $20 to $50 and up, including #O9 (c.v. $110), O25 ($70). Postmark interest includes cds, broken circles, a few squared circles and more, noting a few 'socked on the nose' town cancels. A very nice collection that should be continued, a slight odor on the pages from storage, but does not appear to affect the stamps, still a fine to very fine collection. Estimate =
