Large and comprehensive collection of Alberta town postmarks, a life-time work, 1900's-1980's, containing a few thousand stamps on piece stuffed into 2 SAFE stockbooks. The collection is well organized alphabetically containing several hundred different towns ranging from A to Y. Just a few of the towns encountered include Airdrie, Benton Station, Big Stone, Buffalo Lake, Knee Hill Valley, Niton Junction, Pendryl, Sarrail, Tiger Lily, and so much more. Postmark interest includes a wide range of cancels including cds, split ring, MOON, duplex, POCON types, and others, along with sub and rural post offices, with some towns having a variety of postmark types.
