Fine appearing, but re-perforated on bottom, used example of the 1869 issue 50 CENTS surcharge on 3p violet "Seal of BC", perf 12½ x 12½. The top / left / right sides are perf 12.5, but at some time in its history, someone attempted to increase the value by re-perforating the bottom (likely had a straight-edge). Perfs on top are blunt, that being said, still a rare pre-Confederation classic. 2026 Scott US$1,000.00 =
