"Back of the Book". Nice accumulation of used back of the book issues, 1898-1996, containing several hundreds of stamps neatly organized in several stock pages. The lot contains a little bit of everything with better representation from special delivery, officials (both overprinted and perforated types), and postage dues. Each stamp has been identified by the owner along with accompanying older retail or catalogue values, noting some stamps cataloguing $10 to $15 each including Scott #s E3 (x5, c.v. $105 total), 50c Lumbering 4-hole official (Unitrade c.v. $160 total), just to name a few. Combined Scott and Unitrade catalogue value for the lot totals $1,523.95. A nice lot for the back of the book collector or dealer looking for stock. Estimate =
