Comprehensive mint (mostly) Never Hinged collection of Plate Blocks for the 1c-5c George VI "Postes-Postage" series. The 1c green all in matched sets (plates1-9, plate 3 never issued, 32 different blocks), 2c sepia in matched sets (almost complete for plates #1-4, missing only plate #4 UR, 15 different blocks), 3c rose violet in matched sets (complete, plates 1-14, 56 different blocks), 4c dark carmine in matched sets (complete, plates 1-10, 40 different blocks), 5c blue in matched sets (complete, plates 1-3, plus an extra from plate #2 on bluish paper, 13 different blocks) and the later issued 2c olive green in matched sets (complete, plats 3-8, 20 different blocks). Generally F/VF, with most blocks being VF, we noted about a dozen lightly hinged, but the majority Never Hinged. Suffice to say, opportunities to purchase this complete of a run don't come along often. Owner's 10+ year old Unitrade comes out at $909.40 (which seems somewhat reasonable, perhaps a bit on the low side). Estimate =
