Old-time George VI Mufti Plate Block Hoard. An original "stash" of 175 Mint Never Hinged plate blocks of the 1c to 8c George VI Mufti series, first time on the market from the family of the collector who purchased these as "new issues" from the Post Office. A wealth of different plate numbers and positions (with some duplication), including better (such as 3x Plate #3 of the 5c blue). Of particular note, are the many "cutting guidelines" in the margins, which the collector seemed to search out. We valued these all as fine NH, although there are plenty of VF examples.
