Antigua #2/20. Lovely study group of Queen Victoria issues, both mint and used (many with the distinct "A02" killer cancel). Fresh appearance, usual heavy hinging on the mint, and some minor perforation faults, again not unusual on perf 14-16 stamps of this era. Up to 8 of a type and individual catalogue values to $275.00. All identified and priced by the owner (looks correct). One of the #2 is likely mint no gum and is counted as used. Total 2024 Scott US$1355.50 = $1,829.93

Antigua #21/37. Edwardian-era "Seal of the Colony" design, a wholesale holding of mint and used, awaiting a specialist’s eye. The second printing has good representation too, and both sets could have some non-Scott listed shades and/or cancel interest. If nothing else, this can help you build your British America collection up! Only minor faults noted, and none of the tropical spots that often bedevil this issue. Antigua, Barbuda #12/1160, MR1-MR3. Clean and well-organized collector’s stock on 16 manila stockpages. Bermuda #1/197. A used collection of Bermuda 1865-1965, neatly arranged in a lightly used 16-page Lighthouse stockbook. A strong collection, starting with #1 and well-represented in both the Victorian era and later reigns. The owner has helpfully identified all stamps. Some Gibbons colour varieties not noted by Scott are included and the odd mint can be found here or there (very few). Most stamps are clean and generally fine-plus copies, though some small faults in the earlier can be expected. The owner has not reviewed the high denomination key-plates against colour or plate varieties so there may be more to discover, and those with fiscal cancels have been counted at 10% of catalogue. A lovely and reasonably comprehensive collection of this popular colony, perfect for the classic collector or as a backbone for specialization. 227 stamps in total. Total 2024 Scott US$1355.50 =

Antigua #21/37. Edwardian-era "Seal of the Colony" design, a wholesale holding of mint and used, awaiting a specialist’s eye. Includes the bi-coloured first printings up to 1/- (the 2/- has a rounded upper right corner, so we aren’t counting its $125.00 catalogue value). The second printing has good representation too, and both sets could have some non-Scott listed shades and/or cancel interest. If nothing else, this can help you build your British America collection up! Only minor faults noted, and none of the tropical spots that often bedevil this issue. Total 2024 Scott US$785.00 =

Antigua, Barbuda #12/1160, MR1-MR3. Clean and well-organized collector’s stock on 16 manila stockpages. It doesn’t have much Queen Victoria (other than almost 100 mint copies of #18, most never hinged and often in blocks of 10). There is some nice King George V "St. John’s Harbour" to 5/-, 1932 Centenary and a number of the 1935 Silver Jubilee issue. The King George VI era includes the 1938 set to £1 (#95 x2), and a few Silver Wedding sets. The Queen Elizabeth II section includes values to $5. (#121 x4, #182a (x2) and then a good range of material to the 1990s, with lots of topical appeal, especially after Barbuda came into the picture (e.g. birds, flowers, fish, aircraft, butterflies). There is a touch of Redonda at the end. Most are identified and priced by Scott (2014), which is consistent with today’s catalogue prices. Estimate =
